- The Turkey Wedding Awards Competition is open to everyone who meets the conditions for participation.
- Application to the competition is free of charge. Participants whose pre-application is approved must deposit the participation fee to one of our account numbers in order to compete in the main competition.
- Couples about to get married and companies providing services in the marriage sector can participate in the competition.
- The application form is available at www.turkiyedugunodulleri.com.
- Contestants are required to fill in the pre-application form of the Turkey Wedding Awards at www.turkiyedugunodulleri.com and approve/accept the participation agreement after the pre-application approval. Within the scope of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), the personal data provided by the participants of the competition during the application can be collected, processed and kept in both digital and physical environment by automatic or non-automatic methods, verbally, in writing or electronically by Turkey Wedding Awards in the capacity of “data controller” within the scope of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”), by means of websites belonging to and/or affiliated with Turkey Wedding Awards, social media channels, telephones, mobile applications and all similar means. The participants have given their explicit consent to this.
- There is an age limit for participation in the competition and those who have reached the age of 18 can participate in the competition.
- The language of the competition is Turkish. If the works to be participated in the competition are prepared in any language other than Turkish, Turkish subtitles must be added.
- The competition is organized in multiple categories. (See Categories)
- Turkey Wedding Awards reserves the right to make changes to the categories.
- The works to be participated in the competition must be original works designed and produced by the participants with their own intellectual creativity.
- The works to be participated in the competition should reveal the difference and original aspects of the authors of that work; they should present new and different perspectives with their strong language of expression.
- The works participating in the competition can be prepared professionally or otherwise with the support of third parties.
- Each contestant can participate in any category with a maximum of 5 works for each category.
- Works prepared for national media and/or published in national media cannot participate in the competition.
- Works that are contrary to the applicable laws of the Republic of Turkey regarding publishing, decency, general morality and public order, works that insult any nation, country, religion, person, community or that are propaganda in nature, works that promote or support violence, war, drug and cigarette use or pornography, works that praise fanaticism of any kind and works that contain advertising elements are not eligible to participate in the contest. They will not be evaluated in case of participation.
- The fact that a work has participated in competitions other than the Turkey Wedding Awards (even if it has received an award) does not prevent it from applying to this competition.
- Employees of Turkey Wedding Awards, those who are assigned as a regular or substitute member in the selection committee related to the competition to be opened as long as they continue their duties at the Institution, and all Turkey Wedding Awards Personnel, first-degree relatives and relatives who are / are not involved in the organization of the competition cannot participate in the competition and cannot contribute or assist the work during the realization of the works.
- No person, institution, organization, product or product will be promoted verbally or in writing in the work in violation of RTÜK Advertising legislation.
- Couples can submit different works for each category. However, applications can be made for more than one category with the whole or parts of the same work.
- For joint submissions, participants must be in the same event. The number of participants with rights to a work may vary (in pairs and companies).
- A work applied in one category cannot participate in the competition in the following seasons. In case of re-entering the competition, no evaluation is made and the competitor is directly eliminated.
- If the work is selected as a finalist, the applicant couple or company group must submit a legally valid document (invoice, contract, etc.) stating that they are currently involved in the event (invoice, contract, etc.) to the Turkey Wedding Awards.
- Contestants will participate in the competition by uploading their works to the system via www.turkiyedugunodulleri.com. The works uploaded to the system must be of the quality, format and length specified at www.turkiyedugunodulleri.com.
- The works are evaluated by the Preliminary Screening Committee and the Selection Committee.
- Turkey Wedding Awards determines the selection, announcement and working conditions of the members of the Preliminary Screening Committee and the Selection Committee.
- The decisions taken as a result of the boards’ evaluations are final.
- If there are no works worthy of an award as a result of the evaluation of the Selection Committee, no award will be given in the relevant category.
- The first prize of each category will be awarded **.** TL (****** Turkish Lira), the second prize will be awarded **.** TL (****** Turkish Lira), the third prize will be awarded **.** TL (******* Turkish Lira) and an award plaque.
- A single cash prize and an award plaque will be awarded for each winning entry.
- In case of insufficient number of entries in the categories of the competition, the decision on whether or not to make an evaluation in that category belongs to the Turkish Wedding Awards.
- Applications that do not comply with the conditions of the competition and/or are found to be submitted with false statements will not be evaluated.
- Turkey Wedding Awards may use and publish the award-winning works in all broadcast media of Turkey Wedding Awards (radio, television, magazine, new media, digital media, etc.) with a simple and sub-license without any royalty or payment.
- Those who fill in the Application Form and approve/accept the “Participation Agreement” are deemed to have accepted the terms of participation.
- Turkey Wedding Awards reserves the right to make changes to the general or special terms and conditions of the competition in the event of an unforeseen situation arising at any stage of the competition.
